As an international fan, one of my dreams is to watch my favorite idols perform in South Korea. Whether it be a concert, a gig, a festival, or a music show. Last May 11, 2019, I was given the chance to attend a music festival called Beautiful Mint Life, and saw DAY6 for the second time!
So Ji Sub’s fan meeting in Manila is probably what I consider a miracle fan meeting. I’ve known So Ji Sub since 2005 because of his drama “Memories in Bali”, which is by the way one of my mom’s favorite drama. I was around 9 years old that time! Who would have thought that after years So Ji Sub came and visited the Philippines for a fan meeting?
After Wanna One’s last concert in Manila last September 2018, I never thought I’ll get the chance to see any members again. For a broke international fan, seeing my favorite idol once is already a blessing. What more if I get to see him more than once, right?
It has been weeks since KPOPCON X happened. And like what I always say in my previous blogs, I am sorry for posting it late. Well, you know. Life happens. But it won’t stop me from blogging this event. I was really stressed with this event (well, I guess everyone is). But I am very happy that I became a part of PKCI for its this very special event.
I never thought I’ll get to see iKON this close, or even attend this event. Why? First of all, I am not a Samsung user. And even if I am, for sure I can’t afford the required Samsung model to join the event. Second, I am not lucky with raffles. But thankfully, I got a media pass under kpopchannel.tv.
A lot of you may be shocked because I am posting something about Thai since I always post about Koreans. Let me give you a heads up, I attended this fan meeting not as a fan, but as a photographer. But I can say, that I became a fan of these artists when I met them.
I was pretty much aware that this new KPOP group, NOIR, will be visiting the Philippines for a free fan event. But I never knew that I will have the chance to meet them twice.
It’s funny to think that I was still able to attend Taeyeon’s concert in Manila even thought I was not able to buy tickets on the day of the ticket selling. I am very much thankful for kpopchannel.tv for this opportunity.
This I guess was the most peaceful yet super fulfilling concert that I have attended. WINNER ‘Everywhere’ Tour in Manila was held at the MOA Arena last November 10, 2018. This concert was brought to you by Pulp Live World.
It has been 2 years since the first MBC Show Champion was held in Manila. This 2018, it came back with a very unexpected line up. EXO – the most awaited kpop group in the line up – MXM, Weki Meki, The Boyz, Hyeongseop x Euwioong, and Xeno – T rocked the stage of MOA Arena last October 28, 2018.
