Adventures won’t be the same without your friends. Last June 27, 2015, at about 2 in the afternoon, my friends – Joseph and Shane – and I went through an Enchanting Adventure at EK.
It was a Saturday when we went there (because we have midyear classes) so we are already expecting a lot of people. Right after our ENG 10 recitation class, we took our lunch at Mcdo and traveled to Sta. Rosa, Laguna (since we are from Elbi). After two rides of jeepney and one ride of tricycle, we have arrived at Enchanted Kingdom.
Last December 30, 2014, I was able to be a performer at EK and with what, I had free tickets. So, we used those tickets to enter the park. (Yehey! Free tickets!) Well, if you guys want to know the ticket prices and other promos you can visit their website.
So, as I was saying, we have arrived at EK. Like what we have expected, there are a lot of people entering the park. After a couple of minutes, we have entered the park. The first thing we do is, of course, take pictures! Once you enter the park, you will see the grand carousel there. While on the sides, there are some benches where you can sit and that is where we took pictures.
After taking some pictures at these benches, we decided to take a ride. We first rode the Disk-O-Magic. This ride surely is a wrong choice for me. (I usually get dizzy during rides!) But definitely, it is one-of-a-kind experience to ride this one.
The next ride we rode was the Flying Fiesta. This ride is recommended especially when you feel so hot. Once you ride this, you can feel the air (but for those people who easily get dizzy, uhm, we’ll see. Haha)
Since I am a person who gets dizzy easily, we decided to take a short break with those rides and sat down on some benches there. As we are taking a break, we decided to take some pictures, also (we are photo maniacs! Haha)
After resting, we started walking and then we saw a new ride. It was the Air Race. This ride is definitely one of the most thrilling rides since it rotates 360-degrees. But I wasn’t able to join them due to my back condition (there are some people who can’t ride this one). So I just decided to take pictures of my friends.
Then, we decided, as early as now, to get wet. So we went to Jungle Log Jam. I wasn’t able to take a picture of it since I am afraid that my camera might get wet. (I do not have the money to buy another camera! Haha) I can still remember during our first time going here together, we were so wet during this ride but now, I was barely wet.
The next ride we rode was the Wheel of Fate. As you all know, it is the big Ferris Wheel wherein if your on top of the ride, you can see the whole Enchanted Kingdom. This ride is definitely refreshing. You won’t get dizzy (except if you’re afraid of heights).
Because riding was tiring too, we decided to take a break again and fill our stomachs with delicious foods on their food court (Just a tip: Make sure to bring a lot of money since it is kinda costly inside.) And here, Mr. Minion joined us in eating.
Since we are full, we decided to just roam around first instead of riding. After a few moments, we saw the Roller Skater. Since there is only a few people on the line, we decided to go and ride.
And now, to the main event of our life (haha), we decided to really get wet. We went to Rio Grande Rapids. You really need to expect that you’re going to get wet in this ride. It has a long line but to the fact that we are only three, we were able to get ahead of the line making us be able to ride it twice.
Joseph and Shane decided to ride the Disk-O-Magic again. But I didn’t join them anymore or else I won’t be able to go home because of too much dizziness. Haha. After that, we decided to ride the Bump N’ Splash wherein Shane and I became allies on splashing water on Joseph. It was really fun on that ride.
Of course, our trip won’t be complete if we will not be able to ride the Anchors Away. I actually do not want to ride that anymore because I may feel dizzy but due to peer pressure, I rode it. I guess, I made the right decision to ride it. I felt the fun and excitement every time people are shouting and feeling the gravity. It was definitely a great ride too.
It was then night time, and it’s time to go home but there is this one last ride Shane and Joseph wanted to
ride. It is the Space Shuttle. How I wish I could also ride it but due to my back condition, I still can’t. So, I just waited for them and watched as the ride goes round and round. They even rode it twice because of too much excitement.
After all the rides we rode, we finally decided to go home since it is getting late already and we will still travel.
We wanted to ride all the rides but because our time and strength are limited, we weren’t able to do that. But, soon, on our next return to EK we will make sure that we will be able to ride all the rides and shout all the shouts we can do. It was indeed a great experience to come back to EK after a day of academics.
If you want to enjoy, you can also go to Enchanted Kingdom. I am very sure that the ticket price is worth it. But most especially, the time, adventure and fun you had together with your friends or your family. So plan ahead and enjoy your own Enchanting Adventure at EK.
